Dedicated to you, is a collaborative mapping project that invites residents of Nanaimo to create collective maps of the city based on their own experiences. Over the summer months I will be hosting public mapping events in Nanaimo. At these events friends and strangers will gather together to draw maps that describe the city, the landscape, the people and the history of Nanaimo.
Installation
I covered the entire gallery floor with cardboard and created a false wall around the windows overlooking Nanaimo.
